Is the service you conduct legally binding?

In a word – no. Currently, in England and Wales, the solemnisation of your marriage can only take place under the auspices of a religious figure or a registrar. The advantage of a celebrant-led ceremony is the freedom to celebrate your day wherever and however you like. For funerals, naming ceremonies & renewals of vows, there are no legal requirements or qualifications.

Whilst I do not have religious beliefs of my own, I am happy to incorporate any spiritual or religious elements that are important to you or your loved ones.

What happens if you/we need to cancel?

I understand that circumstances change and that you may need to cancel or postpone your ceremony. My terms & conditions provide more information; similarly, should I be unable to conduct the ceremony, I will endeavour to find a suitable substitute, subject to your agreement.
